Our Story

Brent Morris has been fascinated with art since a young age growing up in Peoria, Il. Creating sculptures with anything he could, leading him into continue his passion for art in college. Morris would go on to pursue art at Fontbonne University from 1994 to 1996, receiving a Masters of Fine Arts in sculpture and ceramics Magna Cum Laude. Upon obtaining his degree, he would then begin a dual teaching assistantship at Fontbonne in both subjects. In September of 1997, he would work along side Bob Cassilly, whom also graduated from Fontbonne, on The City Museum. During this time, his first public piece would be installed at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, a lion. He continued creating art all around The City Museum until 2004. After leaving The City Museum, he continued creating art as a side career, falling in love with creating steel sculptures. In 2023 he created IsMorr Kreativ, LLC. allowing his passion to be enjoyed by all. He spends his time in his studio creating artwork for people all around. Now, his artwork is showcased and available to be purchased by anyone whom desires.
